Managing director of Bata Shoe Company (Bangladesh) Ltd. J D Hearns announced the launch of new shoe and sandal models ahead of the upcoming Eid festival Eid-ul-Fitr, at which a large number of clothes and shoes are purchased.

The new products cater for all age groups and are reasonably priced.

It has been reported that, through its manufacturing units in Tongi and Dhamrai, the company manufactures some 21% of the industry's total domestic production.
