Brazil
could become a component supplier to global brands such as Cacharel, Gucci, Swarovski, Roberto Cavalli and Jean Paul Gaultier.

Brazilian participation at Mod´Amont, recently held in Paris, attracted a large number of visitors generating business opportunities that exceeded its exhibitors’ expectations. Among new contacts are brands such as Roberto Cavalli and Jean Paul Gaultier.

“Our participation at this event has shown that Brazil has a lot of potential in this sector and that our companies are prepared to supply demanding markets that require high added value goods”, said Dalva Antunes, component project co-ordinator with the Brazilian Export Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil).
Director of Inferteq Carlos Alberto de Barros is also pleased with the results of the fair, particularly the response to its anti-piracy tag.

Last year, the French market imported $7.1 million worth of Brazilian components, among the top twenty exports for components.
