Brazilian shoe fair Couromoda has refused exhibition space to Chinese companies. President of Couromoda Francisco Santos explained that the priority of the event is to exhibit goods made in Brazil. He added that the fair is committed to the success of the Brazilian shoe sector which is determined not to give in to the competition from Chinese goods.
 

The next edition of Couromoda is to be held January 15-18, 2007 in São Paulo.
