Environmentally-friendly packaging from Timberland

13/09/2006
US-based premium-quality footwear, apparel and accessories company The Timberland Company has introduced more environmentally-friendly packaging for its footwear products and a product information label that details aspects of the company's environmental and community footprint. The new packaging and labelling will be available in stores with this autumn.

The new footwear boxes are made of 100% recycled post-consumer waste fibre with no chemical glues and only soya-based inks for the printing of labels.

The ’Our Footprint’ label pinpoints the company’s environmental and community initiatives as well as listing the name and location of the factory where the product was made.
