Pakistan’s footwear exports fall

According to data released by the Pakistan government’s Federal Bureau of Statistics, the country’s footwear exports fell significantly in July compared with the figures reported for June.

The country exported footwear worth $8.545 million in July compared with $14.6 million in the previous montha decrease of 41.5%.

During July Pakistan exported 1.017 million pairs of footwear worth $8.5 million, including leather footwear worth $7.6 million, canvas footwear worth $0.4 million and other footwear worth $0.5 million compared with $9.9 million, $0.5 million and $4.1 million respectively in the previous month.
