US clothing, footwear and eyewear brand Gant has signed an agreement to be launched in Brazil. The company’s main franchisee in Portugal, Delveste - Comercio de Vestuario, S.A, is expanding and will be responsible for the launch of Gant in the Brazilian market. The first Gant store will open this autumn. The company also operates in other areas and has, been involved in the textile business in Brazil for some time.

The launch will begin with the opening of a Gant store in Curitiba in southern Brazil, and Delveste plans to open further Gant stores in, among other locations, Sao Paolo and Rio de Janeiro in the next few years.

Including Brazil, the Gant brand is represented in 73 countries worldwide through 26 master franchisees.
