US-based branded casual and athletic footwear company DSW Inc. has reported a comparable store sales increase of 2.2% for the thirteen weeks ended July 29, compared with the thirteen weeks ended July 30, 2005. Net sales for the period increased 9.1% to $301.3 million from $276.2 million for the same period last year.

Comparable store sales increased 3.2% for the year-to-date period and net sales increased 10.7% to $617.8 million from $558 million for the same period last year.
