California-based sports sandals company Teva, a division of Deckers Outdoor Corporation, has introduced its 2007 spring footwear line.

The new Karnali Wraptor sandal uses the TPU Drain Frame platform which wraps around the midsole creating anchor points that integrate into the upper strapping system, allowing the foot to securely lock onto the bottom unit. A series of drainage ports allow water to escape directly though the bottom of the shoe and a layer of monofilament mesh prevents debris from entering the bottom of the shoe. The shoe also provides ventilation.

The Karnali Wraptor received the award for design excellence at the Friedrichschafen OutDoor show in Germany, in 23 for which some 153 entries from 21 different nations submitted entries.
