Strong Brazilian presence at WSA

Eighteen Brazilian companies will exhibit their products at WSA in Las Vegas, August 1-4, through the Brazilian Footwear Exports Promotion Programme, developed by the Brazilian Footwear Industries Association (Abicalçados) with the support of the Export and Investments Promotion Agency (Apex-Brazil).

The Brazilian products will be displayed at a collective Brazilian Footwear stand and also at the WSA luxury and design showcase, Collections.

The aim of the Brazilian companies is to expand their exposure in the North American market. According to international business manager of children’s shoe manufacturer Bibi, Andréa Kohlrausch, attending WSA is part of the brand’s internationalisation strategy. "In events like this, Bibi builds networks. It is not only about showing collections, but exhibiting different concepts, like adding entertainment and health to children’s items," she said.
