New China and Vietnam anti-dumping tariffs discussed
The European Commission has held more discussions regarding the anti-dumping limits on imported leather shoes from

A decision must be reached by October, when the duties that have been introduced as temporary measures will expire.
 
   
The Foreign Trade Association has urged governments to rethink tariffs which may have an impact on the tax on children’s shoes. Secretary general of the association, Jan Eggert, implied that the measures would have a serious impact on European importers, retailers and customers.
 
   
The Commission maintains that European shoemakers and leather producers are suffering as a result of dumping, while Chinese and Vietnamese producers deny any wrongdoing.
