Footwear student Adam Villa has just graduated from De Montfort University, Leicester, and has now set up a shoe design business.

Mr Villa is proving his business acumen by setting up his own shoe label called ‘Invillation’, and has already lined up one deal to sell his shoes through a major high street footwear retailer.

Adam was one of 59 entrepreneurs to win a place on the NCGE-RSA Flying Start event which took place in London earlier this month. The event was the first of its kind to focus solely on entrepreneurs in the creative industries, and is designed to help students develop their business ideas.
