Specialty chemicals company Rohm and Haas is to implement select price increases for polymer-based products sold into the household and industrial markets in North America, effective immediately or where contracts allow.

The company has reported that these increases are required to offset the continuing escalation in major petrochemical feedstock costs used to produce these products and related energy costs.
