Performance footwear company Keen has teamed up with outdoor equipment group REI to produce the Keen Eco-Carton. The shoebox is said to be made from 100% recycled materials and is 100% biodegradable. No artificial chemicals, dyes, chlorine or ink is used.

The new box design will be used on select Keen Trail Running styles for autumn 2006 including the waterproof Ochoco, Bend and Malibu.
