Canadian apparel, footwear and accessories retailer West 49 Inc. has reported financial results for the first quarter of fiscal 2007, ended April 29.

Net sales for the first quarter increased 87.8% to C$35.5 million ($32.2 million) from C$18.9 million for the same period of fiscal 2006.
