According to media reports, a number of footwear companies currently operating in China plan to move factories to East Java, Indonesia. As many as ten companies, from China, Korea and Taiwan are likely to set up new production units in Pasuruan, Surabaya, Gresik and Mojokerto in order to side-step US and EU anti-dumping legislation.
