Apparel, shoes, and accessories retailer Nordstrom, Inc. has reported preliminary sales of $600.8 million for the four-week period ending May 27, an increase of 10.1% compared with sales of $545.6 million for the four-week in 2005. Same-store sales increased 7.8%.

Preliminary year-to-date sales of $2.39 billion increased 8.5% compared with sales of $2.20 billion in 2005, while year-to-date same-store sales increased 6%.
