A Taiwanese trade and investment delegation, including representatives from the footwear and machinery sectors, is currently visiting India in order to assess market opportunities for Taiwanese products.

Organised by the Taiwanese Ministry of Economic Affairs, the visit follows the establishment of a Taiwan-India Cooperation Council (TICC) in February this year in an attempt to strengthen economic ties between the two countries.
