Ecologically-friendly company Simple Shoes will be a platinum sponsor for the 2006 Kokua Festival, featuring Jack Johnson, Ben Harper and Willie Nelson. The Kokua Festival includes two days of music, celebration, and environmental awareness on Maui and Oahu. Proceeds will benefit the Kokua Hawaii Foundation, which brings environmental education to the schools of Hawaii’s communities.

Simple Shoes’ initiative Green Toe uses sustainable materials such as jute, cork, natural crepe and laytex, felted wool, and water-based adhesives in its footwear products.
