New product directors join Dr Martens
Dr Martens has appointed Isadora Versiani as global product design director and Nadia Svensson as global merchandising and product director.
Ms Versiani joins from Marc Jacobs, where she served as design director for footwear. She brings more than 17 years of footwear design experience and has previously held senior design roles at Tory Burch, BCBG Max Azria Group and Vida Shoes International.
Ms Svensson most recently worked as a consultant following a career that included senior product leadership positions at Adidas, Kathmandu and Zalando. At adidas, she was senior product director for outdoor and sportswear at the company’s creation center Asia in Shanghai.
Commenting on the appointments, chief brand officer Carla Murphy said the pair bring a combination of creative vision, product expertise and international market experience, having built careers across leading footwear, fashion and performance brands.
