Le Marche brands to showcase craftsmanship at Birmingham event
High-end footwear and leathergoods brands from Italy’s Le Marche region will take part in a series of special event in Birmingham in mid-August.
Organised by the chamber of commerce in Le Marche, the events coincide with the opening of the European Athletics Championships, which Birmingham is hosting from August 10-16.
One of the events will celebrate Le Marche’s contribution to sport, but others will focus on design and fashion. At the fashion event, on the afternoon of August 10, footwear and leathergoods will feature prominently.
Footwear brands taking part will include Loriblu, Franceschetti, Alexander Hotto, Enrico Cuini and equestrian products specialist Romitelli Shoes, while companies including Valentino Orlandi and Marta Gattari will hold the torch for Le Marche’s leathergoods sector.
