Cordwainers Awards 2026 winners announced
The Worshipful Company of Cordwainers has announced the winners of the Cordwainers Awards 2026, celebrating emerging footwear talent from across the UK in design, craftsmanship and sustainability.
In the CFA Design Award, first place went to Yevheniia Mizevych, followed by Ceci Sariol in second and Silva Coco in third. Commendations were awarded to Rose Frankland, Pranav Sudhir and Yi Wang.
The Craft of Shoemaking Award was won by Matthew Gill, with Damon Ma in second and Ross Edwin Bell in third, alongside a commendation for Robert Hardy. Additional honours included Haiyu Bo, who received the Daniel Charkow Award, Merrie Elisabet Wells, who won the Sustainability Award, and Anna Boutashkova, who received the Stuart Weitzman Award.
Judges Kristina Blahnik and Carreducker were thanked, along with sponsors Steven and Carol Charkow, and Sam D’Avoine, who delivered the student address.
