New chief executive for Alexander McQueen
Luxury group Kering has appointed Gianfranco D’Attis as the chief executive of one of its brands, Alexander McQueen. Mr D’Attis took up the role on June 3, succeeding Gianfilippo Testa.
The career of Gianfranco D’Attis spans more than 25 years. He was most recently chief executive of Prada. Before that, he held senior leadership roles at LVMH and Richemont in Asia, North America and Europe.
Kering said the Alexander McQueen brand was entering “a new phase”, supported by “a leaner and more disciplined model, built around focused collections”.
