Assomac tour promotes Simac Tanning Tech
Machinery and technology manufacturers’ body Assomac has carried out a series of meetings in some of Italy’s main centres of leather and footwear production.
It held sessions in Vigevano, Santa Croce sull’Arno, Civitanova in Le Marche and Arzignano. It said its aim was to support member companies “in an increasingly complex scenario”.
At the end of the series of meetings, Assomac president, Mauro Bergozza, said platforms such as the Simac Tanning Tech exhibition, which next takes place in Milan from September 15-17, could support company competitiveness.
He said the events were taking on an increasingly central role, not only as exhibitions, but as places “capable of bringing together the entire supply chain and enhancing Italian technological excellence”.
