Amer Sports has published details of its latest sustainability report.

Focusing on its business in 2025, Amer said “absolute emissions”, the total volume of greenhouse gas it emitted in 2025, went up compared to the previous year.

It said this increase was driven by growth in its business and that it had achieved reductions in its “emissions intensity” relative to revenue.

Amer also said it had increased renewable energy use across its own operations, from 39% of total energy use in 2022 to 72% last year.

Another achievement it highlighted was Salomon’s development of a new version of its XT_PU.RE shoe, which uses mainly recycled and recyclable materials. There is a new  two piece upper made from recycled polyester fibres.
