‘Live commerce’ workshops to be part of BF Shoes programme
Industry body Abicalçados has announced that visitors to the BF Shoe, which will celebrate its sixth edition in São Paulo from May 18-20, will be able to attend masterclasses on digital sales.
Abicalçados and its organising partner, NürnbergMesse Brasil, have said they are expecting 12,000 footwear industry professionals to visit the exhibition. Many of these visitors run bricks-and-mortar shoe stores across Brazil and other parts of Latin America, but Abicalçados said these visitors’ businesses have a chance to achieve growth through ‘live commerce’.
She said presenting collections live on digital channels was “transforming e-commerce sales” of shoes. Specialists in presenting products in this way will be at BF Shoes and will give live demonstrations of how retail companies can learn to be part of this change.
“Visitors will see that traditional retailers can extend their reach, strengthen their relationships with customers and generate more revenue through online sales,” she said.
Specialist partners TikTok Shop, Shopee and Nós Somos Moda will lead workshops and demonstrations at the exhibition.
