Manufacturers in France exported footwear with a value of €813.4 million in the first two months of 2026, a fall of 5% compared to the same months a year earlier.

Imports of footwear into France over the two-month period were worth €1.2 billion, a fall of 10% year on year.

Over the same period, exports of dress gloves had a value of just over €2.1 million, which was up by 5%. Imports of dress gloves over the same period were worth €2.6 million, down by 8% year on year.
