Athletic footwear brand New Balance has promoted Tracy Knauer to the role of new senior vice-president for North America. 

Ms Knauer has worked at the company for more than 20 years in marketing, product development and sales roles.

Chief executive, Joe Preston, described her as an experienced industry leader with a deep understanding of New Balance’s business. “She embraces our brand’s core values,” he said, “and will drive continued momentum for our North American region.”
