Singer and guitarist James Bagshaw was a recent guest at the factory footwear brand Loake runs in his home town, Kettering.

Mr Bagshaw, a member of rock band Temples, said he was a long-time, proud wearer of Loake shoes. He said seeing at close hand all of the skill and hard work that goes into making the shoes had been “incredibly inspiring”.

He described the artisans working at the factory as “a truly talented team of craftsmen and women.”
