Hamburg-based fashion brand Jil Sander has renewedits partnership with Puma to design a new show, K-Street. The companies have described the shoe as “a streamlined sneaker, defined by a close, contoured fit and an ultra-thin sole”.

Creative director at Jil Sander, Simone Bellotti, said this was his “signature shoe design”.  He explained: “I like footwear that is streamlined, with a thin nest of soles embracing the foot with a natural line.”

It is called K-Street because the upper is inspired by Puma’s H-Street running spikes, while the inspiration for the sole is the world of karate.
