Multi-stakeholder body the Leather Working Group has announced that adidas’ senior director of product development at adidas, Catherine Lee, has joined its board.

She will bring extensive experience of sourcing operations and material development, with strong expertise in aligning strategic sustainability goals, regulatory requirements and operational readiness, said LWG.

She will replace the senior director of materials supply at Timberland’s parent group, VF Corporation, Jon Hopper, on the board. LWG paid tribute to Jon Hopper’s years of dedicated service and contribution to LWG’s work.
