Record results boost Anta’s confidence about competing globally
Athletic footwear group Anta Sports has reported record revenues in its full-year results for 2025.
Its revenues reached 80.2 billion RMB, equivalent to about $11.6 billion. Anta said this represented growth of 13.3% year on year, with profits increasing by 15% to reach around $2.75 billion.
The company said these results indicate that it has maintained a leading position in the sportswear market in China. It claims to be market leader with a 21.8% share of the total Chinese market for sports footwear and apparel, and in the top three globally. It cited an unnamed “internationally recognised institution” as the source of this information.
Its Fila brand contributed around $4.1 billion to the group’s total, up by 6.9% year on year. Revenues at its Descente brand were more than $1.4 billion. Descente followed Anta and Fila to become the group’s third brand to achieve revenues of more than 10 billion RMB.
Executive director, Ding Shizhong, said: “In 2025, amid a complex and rapidly changing environment, we once again delivered resilient growth by staying true to our strategy. Each of our brands delivered high-quality growth.”
He went on to say that, for Anta, growth is not simply about expansion of scale, but about running successful operations and bringing successful products to market.
“We are confident that we can continue building resilience, health and vitality by driving technological innovation, staying anchored in the market in China, and expanding globally to compete on the world stage.”
