Around 75% of total production in Brazil will be represented at BF Show in May
Brazil’s national footwear industry association, Abicalçados, has said some of the biggest names in the sector will take part in the next BF Show exhibition, which takes place in São Paulo on May 18 and 19.
With event organiser NürnbergMesse Brasil as a partner, Abicalçados launched the BF Show event at the end of 2023. It says this is already Latin America’s biggest footwear exhibition. This upcoming edition will be the sixth in its history.
Major companies that will have a presence at the May 2026 event include Alpargatas, Grendene, Calçados Beira Rio, Ramarim, Democrata, Ferracini and Pimpolho.
In terms of production volumes, Abicalçados has calculated that companies taking part in the BF Show this time will represent 75% of the Brazilian industry’s total, with a combined capacity to produce 900 million pairs per year.
