Country manager appointment for OrthoLite
Performance insole developer OrthoLite has appointed Marco Grott as its new country manager for Indonesia.
In this role, he will lead overall operations and business strategy for the company in Indonesia, strengthening relationships with brand and factory partners across the region.
Mr Grott (pictured) brings more than three decades of experience in international business management, supply chain management and innovation in footwear manufacturing to the role.
He has set up factories in countries including Mexico and Vietnam, as well as working in sourcing, product development, operations, and finance roles. He also developed a number of patents while working at footwear companies including adidas and western boot brand Ariat.
“Indonesia is a critical market in our global growth strategy,” said Richard Bevan, chief operating officer of OrthoLite. “Marco’s leadership, market insight and collaborative style will advance our operations and strengthen our partnerships there.”
Coats announced the completion of its acquisition of OrthoLite at the end of October. This acquisition is the latest step in Coats’ ambition “to shape the future of the global apparel and footwear supply chain”.
