Moda in Pelle set for majority acquisition by GlobalTech

US technology holding company GlobalTech Corporation has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a 51 percent interest in 123 Investments Limited, trading as Moda in Pelle, a premium UK footwear brand established in 1975.

Moda in Pelle generated net revenues of about $37 million (€34 million) in its most recent fiscal year and has been an early adopter of technology across its operations.

GlobalTech said the acquisition will add a new revenue stream, strengthen its position in the UK market, and expand its e-commerce capabilities through the activation of its Thrivo AI system within the Moda in Pelle business. The company expects the transaction to close within 30 days, subject to customary conditions.

GlobalTech chief executive Dan Green said the deal is expected to create value, improve technology deployment, and provide direct access to the UK market. He added that integrating Thrivo AI into Moda in Pelle’s operations should support further business growth for both companies.
