New Balance publishes first MADE in USA footprint report

The company remains the only major athletic-footwear brand with sustained US manufacturing and has invested $155 million (€134 million) in its domestic factories since 2021.
The brand’s five New England sites contributed to a GDP impact of $3.1 billion (€2.67 billion) in 2024, a rise of 23 percent on the previous year. MADE operations accounted for $479 million (€413 million). New Balance employs more than 5,000 people in the US, including 1,200 in its MADE division.
Community contributions in 2024 exceeded $28 million (€24.1 million), including major commitments to universities in Massachusetts and Maine. Product donations in Boston and Lawrence across 2023–2024 carried a wholesale value above $1 million (€0.86 million).
