New OrthoLite facility opens in northern Vietnam
OrthoLite has opened a new manufacturing site in Ninh Binh Province in north Vietnam. The development strengthens the group’s plan to localise its full product creation process and expand support for regional and global footwear brands.

The OrthoLite North Vietnam facility is designed to advance local for local production and forms part of the company’s wider vertical integration model. Country manager Michael Hsu said the site will shorten lead times, raise supply chain resilience and maintain global quality standards across all foam formulations. He added that the investment will help reduce waste and support the introduction of new digital monitoring tools for improved transparency.

Mr Hsu said the northern Vietnam region is a central element of the company’s global production strategy and will allow OrthoLite to deliver comfort solutions to international brands through local manufacturing.

Coats confirmed the completion of its acquisition of OrthoLite on October 30, 2025. The purchase supports its aim to drive innovation, sustainability and digital capability throughout the global apparel and footwear supply chain.
