Helen Kirkum Studio has confirmed that it will close at the end of the year after eight years in operation.

The London-based design practice, known for its work in creative reconstruction and material reuse, said that remaining stock, including one-off samples, is now available online and that no further styles or colourways will be produced.

Founder Helen Kirkum said the studio’s work had contributed to lasting shifts in approaches to materials, processes and product development in the fashion sector. She added that she will move into a new role that offers scope for global impact, with further details to follow.
