Technology provider JustWell Machinery has developed a new automated sewing machine that it says is ideal for use in the manufacture of leather bags, shoes and belts.

The Dongguan-based company described the new sewing machine as highly efficient and stable.

An operative has to place the leather in the right position and then place on top pieces of metal to provide the outline the machine needs to follow, but the machine then takes over and applies the stitches automatically.
