Footwear group Wolverine Worldwide has appointed Justin Cupps to be the president of its work group, the part of the business that develops work and safety footwear.

Specifically, he will oversee the work collections that the group’s Wolverine, Bates, CAT Footwear, Harley-Davidson Footwear, HyTest and Merrell Work brands bring to market. Brands Mr Cupps has worked for in the past include adidas and Under Armour.

He said Wolverine’s work footwear brands had “tremendous heritage and authenticity” and also important opportunities for growth in the market.
