Sports footwear and apparel company Puma has announced Thomas John as its new vice-president for people and organisation. He replaces Dietmar Knoess, who has left the company.

Mr John, who has previously held human resources leadership positions in companies in the sporting goods, aviation, automotive and energy solutions sectors,  started his new role on October 16.
