Sports brand adidas has introduced a new version of its Italia model, this time in ostrich-print leather.

Originally released in 1959 in time for the Rome Olympics the following year, the Italia was designed as a versatile multi-sport shoe with a soft leather upper and rubber outsole.

The company revived the silhouette earlier this year with a Made in Italy edition in white and green. The latest release keeps the lightweight, minimalist design but uses embossed cowhide to replicate the distinctive texture of ostrich leather.
