Vietnam-based innovation company Cirql, which develops scalable and sustainable midsole components for footwear brands, has appointed Renaud Allaire as Development & Innovation Director.

Mr Allaire joins Cirql with experience at major footwear brands including Puma and On Running, bringing expertise in material science, product innovation, and sustainable manufacturing. His role will focus on advancing Cirql’s range of innovations, which includes fully biodegradable midsoles and fully recyclable solutions.

“Renaud’s strategic leadership will help accelerate Cirql’s mission to transform the footwear industry through circularity, scalable innovation, and environmental responsibility,” said Matt Thwaites, vice president and general manager of Cirql.

Based in Ho Chi Minh City, he will collaborate with international footwear brands to promote adoption of Cirql’s materials, supporting production efficiency, end-of-life solutions, and environmental performance.
