New categories will give Canada Goose more balance, CEO says
Outdoor brand Canada Goose is making adjustments to its product offering to become more of an all-seasons brand, chief executive Dani Reiss has said.
Recent results show that the Toronto-based brand made 45% of total annual revenues in the quarter covering the winter period. Mr Reiss recently told the Wall Street Journal that he wanted sales to become “more balanced”, and that offering more products in non-winter categories would help.
He said the brand was already finding success in its footwear category. Canada Goose began offering footwear at the end of 2021.
Other categories Mr Reiss is interested in adding include luggage and bags.
