Start-up running footwear brand Movv is to launch a new model of shoe, the Solara, on September 1. The Denmark-based company brought out its first shoe, the Nostara, at the start of this year.

It said the new Solara will help runners avoid over-pronation, preventing the foot from rolling inward excessively.

It added that the Solara would deliver “smart support” for runners who have a tendency to over-pronate, but without the “rigid corrections found in traditional motion-control shoes”.

This “smart support” is the result of months of research, testing, and refinement, Movv said.
