High-end outdoor footwear brand Aku has become an official partner of a project called Palaronda.

This project focuses on the Pale di San Martino massif in the Dolomites, where there is a network of multi-day trekking tours that cross the mountains.

Aku will provide the managers who run refuges at different points on the tours with a selection of footwear. As part of the project, outdoor clothing brand Ferrino will supply the people who work in Pale di San Martino with technical garments.

This initiative is part of a broader commitment to “mountain culture”, Aku said, promoting hospitality, awareness and sustainability.
