Coats Footwear unveils sustainable insole portfolio

The new range offers eco-conscious and high-performance insole products designed to meet the specific requirements of performance sports, lifestyle, outdoor, high-heeled and workwear footwear. Products in the portfolio combine durability, comfort, breathability and advanced safety features, including electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection, to meet the technical demands of different footwear categories.
Sustainability is a central focus of the new offering, with bio-based and recycled materials used across many of the products. Coats says this will help brands address growing consumer demand for environmentally responsible products and support their circularity and sustainability targets.
Holger Hoffmann, global head of cellulose and channel sales at Coats Footwear, said the launch reflects the company’s strategy to provide manufacturers with technically advanced, sustainable insole solutions that do not compromise on performance.
The Insole Solutions portfolio is suitable for a wide range of footwear construction methods, including strobel-lasted, cement-lasted and Goodyear welted styles, giving manufacturers flexibility across their product lines.
