LA influencer teams up with Puma

Athletic footwear brand Puma has worked with Los Angeles-based influencer and television personality Amelia Gray to produce a new version of its Mostro shoe.

It said Ms Gray’s “fearless style and ability to define trends” embodied the “disruptive, original, ferocious and unconventional spirit” of the Mostro.

Puma first released the Mostro (Italian for ‘monster’) in 1999 with a silhouette that the company describes as a hybrid of a 1960s track spoke and a 1980s surfing shoe.

Ms Gray said she loved the comfort of the shoe and how easy she found it to wear. “It has that perfect mix of retro and modern that makes any outfit feel more elevated,” she added.
