Coats Footwear launches all-in-one handbag components kit
Coats Footwear has launched a new kit that brings together all the structural parts needed to make a handbag in one box.
It is part of the company’s new ‘Lifestyle Solutions’ range, designed to simplify sourcing for manufacturers.
The kit aims to reduce supply chain complexity and improve consistency. It includes eco-friendly materials for handles, straps, gussets, flaps and other key areas, with options to customise the contents for single or multiple bags.
The wider Lifestyle Solutions range also includes threads, linings, fillers and outer materials, developed with a focus on performance and sustainability.
Key materials in the range include:
RX V 5000: Made from recycled wood and polymers to provide structure and reduce carbon impact.
Cyclea: A reinforcement material created from leftover leather waste.
EcoVerde Threads: Recycled threads made from post-consumer PET bottles.
Ultrasoft: A breathable, durable material for internal bag components.
Pyroflex: A strong reinforcement material with thermo-adhesive backing.
Powerflex: A flexible, stretchable material for use in elastic areas.
