Puma appoints new North America president
Germany-based sportswear brand Puma has named Tara McRae as the new president of Puma North America (PNA).

Ms McRae, who previously led the company’s marketing and brand strategy in North America, takes over from Bob Philion, who is stepping down after 20 years at Puma, including eight years as PNA president.

Puma chief commercial officer Matthias Bäumer expressed confidence in Ms McRae’s leadership, highlighting her deep understanding of the North American market. "I strongly believe she has the experience and the strategic mindset to help us succeed in this crucial market," he said.

Ms McRae rejoined Puma in 2024 as senior vice president of brand and strategy. Her previous roles include chief marketing officer and digital officer at Clarks, and the first chief marketing officer at Tom Brady’s TB12 brand. She also held various positions at Puma North America from 2006 to 2016.
