Healthy golf industry helps deliver growth for Acushnet

Golf clothing, footwear and equipment group Acushnet has reported full-year revenues of more than $2.4 billion for 2024, an increase of 3.2% year on year.

The group’s Titleist brand achieved sales revenues of $1.5 billion, up by 6.2% compared to 2023. It highlighted Titleist GT metal drivers, SM10 wedges and Pro V1, Pro V1x and AVX golf balls as products that had performed particularly well in 2024.

Sales at FootJoy were $574.6 million, down by 2.6% year on year. The group’s third reportable segment, golf gear (led by travel products), brought in $232.1 million, an increase of 4.3%.

Chief executive, Dave Maher, commented: “The golf industry is healthy, with record rounds of play in the US in 2024 and worldwide rounds of play up by almost 20% over the past five years. We are planning for continued growth in our business, highlighted by exciting new products across all our segments.”
